Piper Theatre Productions

Piper Theatre Productions was established in 2001 by John and Rachel McEneny to develop arts and culture in the City of Yonkers as a way to foster economic development, tourism, and an enhanced quality of life.

With the enthusiastic in-kind support from the City of Yonkers, Parks Department and the Borough of Brooklyn, Parks Department, the financial support of local businesses and citizens, Piper produces free and accessible theatre in the communities they serve (namely Yonkers and Brooklyn/Park Slope)

Piper works to develop emerging artists and produce artistic works for the entire community of Yonkers and Brooklyn. They have a summer Shakespeare workshop, where, through mentoring and collaboration with adult theatre professionals, young people learn to become creative, hardworking members of society.

In March 2003, Piper Theatre Productions was awarded the Community Arts Award by the Westchester Arts Council as the fastest growing arts organization in Westchester County.
