Connie Freid

For the past 10 years, Connie has specialized in paintings of mystical women whose intense gaze draws in the viewer. Her highly charged surfaces create an undercurrent of anxiety as well as beauty, expressing a sense of unease in a world that often values external appearance over inner strength.

Connie has studied at the Philadelphia Museum School of Art, SUNY Purchase, Silvermine Guild, and the International Center of Photography. She has exhibited in numerous galleries and juried shows in New York City and the tri-state area. Connie lives in Yonkers.
