Marko Gosar

For the past twenty years, Marko Gosar has been working in the decorative painting field. With his highly skilled team of artisans, he has created elaborate decorative surface treatments for some of the finest residences in the United States. Many projects of his have been published in Architectural Digest, House & Garden, Elle Decor, and many more.

Gosar holds an MFA in fine art printmaking and a BFA in painting from the Academy of Visual Arts in Slovenia. His training emphasized traditional figurative studies, perspective, easel painting, and classic wall painting techniques. He also trained and workd as a commercial printer for several years at a large Slovenian company.

In the early years of his artistic career his figurative art in Europe and the USA won numerous national and international awards. He has received Fulbright and Ford Foundation Grants for his work.
