Riverdale Art Association

The Riverdale Art Association was created in 1999, by a small group of artists for the purpose of exhibiting, selling their work and sharing information about art in all its forms. The founders of RAA met in their homes and became exposed to each others' artistic talents.

The Riverdale Art Association has emerged as a democratic, community-oriented group with over seventy members. They have had exhibitions in Banks, The Riverdale Neighborhood House, The Elizabeth Seton Library of the College of Mount Saint Vincent or the Riverdale and Midtown Manhattan Atrias.

Their membership is open to all artists of all levels from Riverdale adn the surrounding area (including Yonkers). At present their annual membership fee is thirty dollars and the exhibition fee for shows is fifteen dollars. They also have a student member category, in which the annual membership fee is only twenty dollars.
