Passport to Yonkers is an intergenerational art exhibit that exalts the talents of Yonkers Public Schools students and Yonkers senior citizens. Over 80 paintings, drahttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifwings and reliefs will be on display in the event space of the Yonkers Riverfront Library from Wednesday, June 6, 2007 through Friday, June 29, 2007.
This annual exhibit started 15 years ago, and is a joint venture of a number of organizations, including the Yonkers Public Schools, the Jewish Council of Yonkers, the Yonkers Public Library, City of Yonkers Mayor's Office, City of Yonkers Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation, and Elder Craftsmen, Inc. The exhibit celebrates the diversity of the many different groups and individuals who make up the City of Yonkers.
The Riverfront Library is located at One Larkin Center in Yonkers.
