The Yonkers Arts Inc. website is finally up. They have a calendar, artist profiles, and information about grants (none yet-- still under construction) There's a number of parts that are still under construction, and I'm sure the artist and calendar of events will grow over time.If you'd like to check it out, visit their website www.yonkersarts.org

Hi Adam, and all artists everywhere,
This website is the stepping stone I hope! towards what will eventually explode into A YONKERS ARTS COUNCIL,
It's a great looking site, congrats to the directors, or planners.
The next step I hope will be a PERMANENT YONKERS ART GALLERY,
and I'm not talking about the 4 floor of any library, or borrowed space in the trolly barn etc.
I hope who ever is running things, will try to remember those ideas we presented to them, at the first meetings about a Yonkers Arts Council, involving - web site creation, / Calendar -of -events -/-coordatition of local arts events, / regular monthly art exhibits, / in our own Permanent
Yonkers Art Gallery./ giving All local Artists -regular- Fair, and easy access to exhibit their art works.
