How to promote yourself on YonkersArts.org

Yonkersarts.org posted two recent instructions to help Yonkers Artists promote themselves and their work. I thought I'd post them here (with a couple of minor explanations)
to help all Yonkers artists promote themselves a little better.

Here are the tips for you:

SUBMIT YOUR PROFILE:

Artists may submit their profiles if they have a studio or live in Yonkers.
Please follow these instructions for submitting your artist profile.

INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

1) Your Name and category (artist, dancer, writer, etc.)

2) One digital file (jpeg/jpg format) of a work that best represents you

3) A 50 word description of your choice about you or your work

4) Your website, email address, and telephone (optional)

Please email artist profiles to: yonkersarts@gmail.com


SUBMIT YOUR EVENT:

Organizations and individual artists may send for posting information about events or exhibitions taking place in the City of Yonkers. Artists may request postings of their exhibitions taking place outside of Yonkers if they live or have a studio in Yonkers.

Using the following format, please send the information below in a Microsoft word document to YonkersArts@gmail.com.

  • Title of event
  • Description of event
  • Location
  • Link to event or to website
  • Telephone number
  • Date(s) and time(s) of event
  • Date and time of the opening reception (optional)
  • 72 DPI image (optional)
