A Night at the Hudson River Museum

If you've ever wanted to spend an overnight at a museum, you'll have a golden opportunity in July. (Shades of the From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler )

It's not the Museum of Natural History, it's Yonkers own Hudson River Museum. They are sponsoring a program to celebrate the 39th anniversary of Neil Armstrong landing on the moon with an overnight program they are calling One Small Step. It's an installation curated by artist Mathew Bakkom, an artist who is perhaps best known for his creation/installation of the New York Museum of Complaints. Bakkom's work typically seems to involve archival research followed by fanciful and sometimes provocative exhibitions and sculptures provoked by the research.

The Museum has planned a whole night outing, and geared it for adults-- you have to be over 21 to attend. Read more below.
