Schoolhouse Theatre- Gino Civale Exhibition

The Schoolhouse Theater (3 Owens Road, Croton Falls, New York 10519) is pleased to announce a fine art event, to coincide with the opening of the first play of the 2009/2010 Season, “ROSE” by Martin Sherman on October 15, 2009.

The art works of Yonkers resident, Biagio (Gino) Civale will adorn the galleries and corridors of the Schoolhouse Theater from October 15th thru November 30th, 2009. Oil paintings, Mixed Media, Etchings, Woodcuts and Serigraphs,will be on display.

Biagio (Gino) Civale has participated in over two hundred shows globally, of which 65 have been solo exhibitions. This selection, which has a true international flavor, will reflect his interest in the energy of nature, the feeling and flowing of waters and rivers and the interconnectedness of all humanity. The works comprise a retrospective exhibition representing sixty years of the artist’s vision and work.


A celebratory reception, (a vernissage), attended by the artist, will take place on Sunday October 25 from 1 to 3PM. The exhibit will remain open thru November 30 from 10AM to 2.30PM on Mondays and Fridays; from 10AM to 4PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; during performances and by appointment with the galleries (914 277 8477) or the artist.
