Actor's Conservatory Theatre

The Actors Conservatory Theatre is a non-profit company located at 20 Buckingham Road in Yonkers (just off Lockwood Avenue). Founded in 1975, ACT stages comedies, musicals and dramas each season. Professional directors, choreographers, musical directors, lighting, sound and scenic designers and stage managers create the critically acclaimed productions each season.

Founded in 1975 by Arlene Wendt, ACT awards college scholarships, trains young apprentices, provides resume assistance and offers special ticket discounts to seniors, children, school groups, non-profits, and affiliate members of the Westchester Arts Council.

In addition, ACT produces Murder Mysteries for corporate and dinner events.

ACT's primary goal is to provide quality theatre to Westchester audiences at a reasonable cost, to assist young actors and technicians in the art of theatre, and to encourage volunteerism within the community.
