Saturday, April 17, 2pm WOMAN SPEAKING THROUGH US: Performing Women's Writings Professors Kathleen Fowler and Ellen Dolgin will be presenting dramatic readings followed by a discussion of letters, diaries, poems, speeches by a variety of women writers and activists, primarily from the 19th century and maybe some earlier voices as well. The idea will be to trace patterns of women's inspiration and achievement as well as frustration and longing for freedom.
