Design a Mini-Golf Hole

The folks over at the Putting Lot, an urban/artist/activist group in Bushwick, Brooklyn, are soliciting artist proposals to design a 200 sq ft golf hole on the theme of urban sustainability. Their 9 hole"course" occupies a formerly vacant lot, and their work is a lot about utilizing unused and under-used spaces.

The stipend is $500 (and you have to install the hole yourself) but I'm thinking it would be a great creative challenge for a local artist. Visit their website (listed below) to read the full Call for Proposals and guidelines. Deadline is April 27, so get on it!

And in the meantime, maybe something like that could fly here?

Oh, if only there were some vacant lots in Yonkers! :o)
