Irvin is a self taught artist, born in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago in the Caribbean. Irvin came to the United States around 1980, and lived in the Bronx, spending some time in Manhattan, now he is a resident of Yonkers NY. In 1999 he married retired school teacher Ms. Eileen Dennelly, and decided to advance his art career.He works at his studio A & E Art / YOHO Artists studios, on Nepperhan Ave. in Yonkers. He has worked extensively in oil pastels, with some watercolors on occasion.
Irvin conveys through his art the beauty and grandeur of life, using bold colors, and classical forms, he allows his audience to freely contemplate his style or styles, He is an explorer of ideas and realities.
