Louise Cadoux
Louise Cadoux is a custom designer and fabric artist who lives in Hastings-On-Hudson and has a studio at YoHo.
Born in Stockholm in 1958, Ms. Cadoux received a degree in business administration from the University of Upsala in 1983.
In the late 80's and early 90's, she took classes at Parsons, the Art Students League, and FIT. She received her associate's degree in textile and surface design from FIT in 1995.
By that time, Ms Cadoux primary focus was the home and her three young daughters. Familiar with the American tradition of painted floor cloths, she spent several years creating a unique process to protect tables and floors. She now makes custom protective fabrics and rugs.
