The Blue Door Artist Association announces a new exciting artist opportunity.Artists are invited to submit designs to decorate concrete waste receptacles in Downtown Yonkers. Dimensions of the receptacles are 31”x27”.
The Yonkers Department of Public Works and a panel of artists will review submissions and make selections. Up to 10 receptacles will be decorated in the initial stage of the project. Artists are encouraged (but not required) to submit designs that will enhance environmental awareness.
Each Artist whose designs is selected will be paid a stipend.
