“The Stars Come Out on North Broadway”


Untermyer Park has announced their Saturday evening season for this summer.

All Concerts are Saturday nights at 7:30 pm in Untermyer Park (rain location is the Saunders High School, 183 Palmer Road)

All concerts are free thanks to generous corporate and city support.

They haven't yet updated their calendar, but here's the list of what's going on when

June 30 Joe Batagglia and the New York Big Band
“The Big Band Swing of the 30-‘s and 40’s with a more contemporary feel for today”
featuring Linda Miller and John Vassallo


July 7 “Strawberry Fields” – Beatles Tribute Band
“A Magical Mystery Tour through the 1960s beginning with 1964 - complete with mop top hair, black suits and thin ties”

July 14 Thalia Spanish Theatre’s “Viva Colombia”
“A celebration of the vibrancy and diversity of Spanish and Latin American culture” Returning by popular demand.

July 21 Kinding Sindaw
“ A vibrant and beautiful repertory of the sacred, classical, and secular history, culture, dance, music, and martial arts of the indigenous people of the Phillipines”
July 28 “The Supreme Dream” featuring “Linda and the Girls Next Door”
“Smooth and exciting interpretations of favorites of a by-gone era – with classical Motown choreography”

August 11 The Yonkers Philharmonic
“Yonkers’ BEST KEPT SECRET is no secret anymore! A truly professional orchestra that will WOW you with their classical, operatic, and up tempo pop selections”

August 18 Silvana Magda and the Katende Band & Viva Brazil Dancers
“A ‘must-see experience’ revue – a performance that is part music, part spectacle and an all Brazilian Cultural Outreach”
August 25 The Kit McClure Band
This All-Female Big Band is “Glitzy, Glossy, Brassy and Over the Top” – the songs of Frank Sinatra to Duke Ellington, Aretha Franklin and James Brown to Beyonce.
Sept. 1 The ZigZag/Connecticut Ballet
“All in a Summer Evening” – a mix of classical, contemporary and dramatic ballet”.
