I got a recent tip from Brittany Wheeler, the Museum Programs Coordinator at Phillipse Manor Hall, about a wide variety of events going on there. Celebrations, performances, lectures, readings, etc. I checked out their website: http://www.philipsemanorfriends.org/

Saturday, February 9th, 10-4pm – Sarah Lawrence College’s Dance Workshop and Lecture
Various programs throughout the day including a demonstration, lecture and performance. Please call Philipse Manor Hall at 914-965-4027 for more information.
Sunday, February 17th, 12-4pm – Presidents’ Day Celebration
A family-friendly celebration of presidential history with scavenger hunts, quizzes, dress-up, frame-making, storytime and a chance to design your own presidential exhibit. Free to the public!
Sunday, March 9th and Sunday March 30th, 2-4pm– Human Trafficking: Read and discuss Kevin Bales’ book “Disposable People”
On the 9th, join us for an introductory session on human trafficking and “Disposable People” as well as light refreshment (you do not need to have a copy of the book by this session). On the 30th, join us for a discussion of our book and light refreshment. Ages: Adults and mature teens. RSVP for one or both sessions is appreciated! Friday March 14th – Sunday March 16th, 11am and 4pm daily and Friday March 21st – Saturday March 22nd, 11am and 4pm daily – “How to Be a Curator” (1-Hour Tour/Lecture)
Learn about exhibit-making and museum upkeep from the inside out. This tour is for all adult audiences, but is specifically relevant for students interested in the museum and art professions. Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th, 10am-12pm– Kids’ Storytime and Bookmaking
Join us for a story or two, and then make your own chapbook, including writing and illustration. Ages: 4-10. Parent supervision is required. Light refreshments will be served and our upcoming art and writing contest will be introduced. Free.
Sunday, April 27th, 2-4pm – “Spring Cleaning” – Construction, Maintenance and Tools in History and Today
Join us for a lecture and demonstration on colonial and modern tools used to keep a historic house up and running. Be prepared to apply the maintenance skills you learn!
Saturday, May 3rd, 11-4pm – Philipse Manor Hall Flower Festival
A celebration of spring featuring a flower and bake sale, music and the Maypole.
