Be Mused Productions is the brain child of CEM (Chief Executive Muse) Kim Breden. The name of her company, Be Mused Productions, is based on the Muses of Greek mythology who were said to inspire such arts as music, poetry and dance.
There are a number of facets to Be Mused's work. One such facet is the Children's Theatre Company, which offers musical theatre workshops for children of all ages.
All children learn musical theatre craft and skills such as stage deportment, memorization, projection, and excellent diction. Children work in a traditional musical theatre setting with a director, musical director and choreographer, learning lines, developing characters, comprehending blocking/staging, practicing choreography/ dance steps, and learning music and healthy vocal technique.
Every workshop culminates in a live stage performance complete with costumes, ops and scenery. In addition to these standards of musical theatre education, the workshops provide opportunities for building self confidence, personal growth, problem solving, team work and family values.Other facets of Be Mused Productions include performances for adults, "creative packages" for children, and the creation of innovative historical and educational entertainment.
