YoHo Artist Studios- Nepperhan Business Center
The Nepperhan Business Center, at 540-578 Nepperhan Avenue in Yonkers, New York, is a huge property on the outskirts of downtown Yonkers. It features 140,000 sq ft of historical landmark space in a series of reinvigorated factory mills that were newly renovated in 2003.
They have spaces of all kinds for all kinds of artists and small businesses. Marketing it as YoHO (the Soho of Yonkers, the lofts feature excellent light, 24/7 studio access, commercial elevators, and easy access to the property from the highway.
In addition to artist lofts, they offer manufacturing and warehouse spaces of 1,000, 2,000, 4,000 and 5,000 sq ft with management office on-site. The site is in the Yonkers Empire State Development Zone and Federal Empowerment Zone, so if you can create jobs, you get special tax benefits.
